This policy explains what information privatejet.africa collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.
privatejet.africa is a price-comparison and introduction platform for private jet and turboprop charter in Africa. We are not an air carrier. When you ask for exact pricing, your request is passed to licensed third-party charter operators or brokers, who quote and, if you book, perform the flight.
Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry or quote request, we collect what you enter in the form — typically your name, email address, phone number where you provide one, the route, dates and passenger numbers, and any message you add.
Information collected automatically. As with most websites, our server records standard technical data each time a page is requested: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page and the time of the request. We also use Google Analytics 4, via Google Site Kit, to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location at city or country level, device type, and how visitors arrived. Analytics only runs if you consent to it in the cookie banner.
Search activity. Routes, dates and passenger numbers entered into the price search are processed to compute your estimates. This is not linked to you personally unless you go on to submit an enquiry.
Necessary cookies are required for the site to function and are set without consent. Analytics and other non-essential cookies are set only after you accept them. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time through the cookie preferences link on the site, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.
Charter operators and brokers. This is the core of the service. To get you an exact quote, we pass your enquiry to third-party operators or brokers. They then become responsible for the personal data they receive and handle it under their own privacy policies. If you would prefer that we did not pass your details on, you can use the price calculator without submitting an enquiry — the calculator does not require any personal information.
Service providers. Our hosting provider stores the site and its data. Google provides analytics. Automattic provides spam filtering for form submissions. Each processes data on our behalf, or in its own right as described in its own policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
We operate across Africa and our service providers operate globally, so your information may be processed on servers outside your own country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place.
Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to handle your request, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Analytics data is retained for the period configured in Google Analytics. Server logs are rotated by our host.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. The site runs over HTTPS throughout, administrative access is restricted, and login protection is in place on the admin area. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
This site is intended for adults arranging charter flights and is not directed at children.
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
