Uganda has two rainy seasons: roughly March to May, and again from September into November. Sitting almost on the equator, the country never has a genuinely dry month, and rain is a year-round possibility rather than a seasonal one.
For flying purposes the drier windows of June to August and December to February are the more reliable, and they coincide with peak gorilla trekking demand. Unpaved park strips are the constraint rather than Entebbe itself; after heavy rain an airstrip can be unusable while the weather at the departure end looks perfectly fine.
